The last six weeks have been quite a faith journey for Mosaic!  Six weeks ago we began our first world missions conference.  We caught more of God’s heart for our lost world and got to know the wonderful hearts of our own missionaries. 

Then it was our turn.  Starting three Sundays ago we were all challenged to grow our faith by trusting God to use us to get these wonderful brothers and sisters out to where God wants them to minister…by our faith. 

So now it’s our turn.  As we near the end of June, we’re asking EVERYONE who wants to grow in faith this year, big steps or little, to take some sort of step of faith commitment to join our missionaries financially.  To date it looks like about 25% of Mosaic has taken some step in this direction. I’d love that to be 100% knowing how it will grow your faith in the coming year.

How can you participate? 

First, ask God how much He would have you trust Him for above your regular giving over the next 12 months to support our missionaries.  Then listen for His prompting.  Talk it over with your spouse if you are married.  Arrive at an amount that stretches your faith rather than simply redistributing the same amount of faith in more places.

Second, fill out a Missions Commitment Card with the amount you hope to give by faith to Missions.  This will enable us to know how much we can start supporting our mission family immediately. 

Third, watch God answer your faith and prayers as He brings the resources you’re trusting Him for in support of world evangelization. 

Now for one more miracle from this past month.  After just three weeks of receiving commitment cards, those who have already responded are trusting God to use us to give over $75,000 over the next 12 months!  $30,000 of that has already been given in cash!  

So don’t miss this faith experience this year.  Choose to be part of this miracle and part of God’s heart for the lost of our planet. 

IMPORTANT EVENTS THIS WEEK:

• Saturday Morning Men’s Breakfast @ 8:00 a.m. @ the HUB. Our own Kevin Gill will be challenging us from God’s word.  Come enjoy some great fellowship, food and spiritual inspiration.
• Saturday Afternoon from 1:00-3:00 p.m. Men of God Prayer Rally at the Riverfront Clock Tower. Men, we’ll gather with other brothers around the city for a little worship, some group prayer and then divide into smaller teams that will disperse to diverse areas of downtown to pray for our city.
• Saturday & Sunday “Beat the Heat”: On Saturday from 1:00-5:00 p.m. and Sunday from 12:00-5:00 p.m. we’ll be making the Mosaic Center available to people who need refuge from the heat wave coming our way.  If you would like to volunteer to welcome and talk with people who stop in, please talk with Pastor Bob ( or call him at (208) 819-6539.
