Dear Mosaic Family,
TOMORROW is one of the most important days of the year in our nation—The National Day of Prayer. Once a year this day, observed from coast to coast, Alaska to Hawaii, draws God’s people to their knees to humbly cry out to our Father for the heart and souls of our nation.
If ever there were a year…a season…a day when we need to pray for our country, this is the one. As your pastor, I want to issue a call to you this year to join one of the following prayer events being hosted both locally and nationally. Set aside an hour or two to love your country through prayer.
While we may not all agree on most things, surely something we can all agree on is that our nation need God’s intervention right now. Our nation needs more of God’s people crying out to Him right now. Our country needs more of what only God can bring and what will probably only come to us as we humble ourselves enough to recognize that only our prayerful cries can bring God’s powerful intervention in our day.
So, let me appeal to you to set aside extra time tomorrow to PRAY. And if you have access to the internet, please join thousands of brothers and sisters in the Lord at one of the following prayer services:
God will hear us when we cry out to Him. The question is, will we cry out?
