This Sunday marks the end of a year unlike any other. In many ways it has been a year both of humbling experiences and arrogant responses. In a year when God has certainly been humbling the world, it's amazing how so many have responded with arrogance.
While many in places of power in our world live with the illusion that they can somehow control everything from diseases to the day of their own death, truly humble people have found this year to be an amazing opportunity to grow in all the signs and symptoms of God-like humility.
As we gather together this weekend to bid 'farewell' to 2020, come prepared to engage in one of the truest forms of humility--worship of God. We'll be seeking to embrace even more deeply the life of humility modeled for us by so many of the people involved in that first Christmas story. Whether or not you come from 'humble beginnings', let's choose to make this trying year one that concludes with 'humble endings.'
Join us in this journey into humility...at 9:00 & 10:30 a.m. this Sunday.
